Join the AALA WA Branch and Pride in Law for 'The Wedding Banquet' 

The Wedding Banquet tells the story of Wai-Tung Gao, a successful Taiwanese-American man living in New York with his American boyfriend, Simon. To appease his traditional parents and hide his sexuality, Wai-Tung agrees to a marriage of convenience with Wei-Wei, a Chinese artist in need of a green card. What begins as a simple arrangement spirals into a full-blown traditional wedding banquet when Wai-Tung’s parents arrive from Taiwan, leading to a cascade of emotional revelations, cultural clashes, and comedic misunderstandings.

The Wedding Banquet is written and directed by Andrew Ahn, and stars Bowen Yang, Lily Gladstone and Kelly Marie Tran.

• Time: 5:15pm arrival for networking drinks and food. Movie commences at 6:45pm.
• Price: $20 for member tickets (including AALA members, Pride in Law members, college of law students). $35 non-member tickets.
